Globalization and democracy cannot co-exist. They are completely incompatible with each other. Globalization means working under one village. This means that same rules shall be applied for everyone. So in order to be part of a global community one has to adopt to the rules of that community otherwise there will be severe circumstances. Today, the business environment is such that it is only interested in their profit and other things don’t matter. Things like environmental impact and employee rights have become a myth. Nobody is bothered about the well-being of humanity or walking on the right path.
Globalization directly affects the jobs for the country. Factories and jobs are reduced. It benefits those where labour is cheap. Countries such as China, India and Mexico take full advantage of globalization. With the passage of time this trend is even gaining popularity as more and more people are moving towards globalization.
These businessmen have great portfolios and with their sizeable profits, are getting more and powerful. They have got the power to influence governments with their money. They back politicians during their elections and when they get elected they return the favour by backing these businessmen in whatever way possible. They affect whole nations not like small investors who don’t have the power to influence others.
Who are these big private investors with unlimited source of money and where do they come from and what is the source of their income? Nobody knows their answers.
Growth of the annual world supply of money is 7%. It is the private banking consortium that releases this new money and gives it to governments and other private institutions as interest bearing debt. This means the people who control the banking system also control the money. They have unlimited resources of money. What goes on behind the scenes – no one knows. We just know that every year, debt worth of trillions of dollars is paid and new debt of similar amount is added to their coffers. They spend money on the finest of world assets in the field of oil, mining, forestry, medicine, airline industry, pharmaceuticals, energy, petroleum, media, and food item etc.
It is time for wholesale changes in the economic world. At the moment there are some people that are making all the major decisions for population of billions in the world. This can only be changed through people with political awareness and heart for the common people.
